We're Sana and Amanda, and believe it or not, we've been sister-in-laws for a crazy 22 years! Our connection is so tight that we often jokingly refer to each other as “wife” because we are THAT close! Our bond? Well, it's not your typical family tie; it's more like a friendship cranked up to 11! It's as strong as our obsession with helping you feel your best!

Our journeys before Avaas Spa and Tan couldn't be more different. Amanda was a dedicated stay-at-home mom for 13 years, while Sana immersed herself in the medical field for over a decade. Life threw its curveballs, and we had our share of tough years. In 2016, tragedy struck when Amanda lost her mother in a freak accident. In 2017, life tested Sana's resilience with its own set of challenges. We both went through our share of bitterness, but then came the turning point.

In January 2018, a funny little text changed our lives! Amanda took a photo of a vacant spot near Mirror Lake and sent it to Sana as a joke, suggesting she should quit her job and start a business together. Little did we know that this whimsical idea would soon become our reality. On March 24th, we opened the doors to Avaas Spa and Tan. We took all the bitterness and sadness that life had served us and transformed it into something incredibly beautiful. It was a way for us to keep our minds busy and pour our hearts into this new and exciting journey.
